About Ryan . . .

Listen to a 1-minute recorded introduction to Ryan

Ryan Eliason developed his coaching skills through the experience of starting several businesses and a non-profit, managing employees, consulting, designing and leading workshops, and working with therapy clients. He has been coaching professionally since 2003. Ryan received his formal training with the renowned Coaches Training Institute based in San Rafael, California. He is also a certified Master Hypnotist, massage therapist, polarity therapist, and Transformational Therapist through the Heartwood Institute.

At age 18 Ryan was one of fifteen American delegates to the India PeaceTrees Project 1988, the first ever cooperative effort between the former Soviet Union and the United States to reforest land in a developing country. In 1990 he co-founded YES! - Youth for Environmental Sanity, a successful non-profit organization who's mission is to connect, inspire and empower young changemakers to join forces for a thriving, just and sustainable way of life for all. YES! has reached over 600,000 young leaders from 55 nations through powerful presentations and week-long leadership trainings. Ryan has been one of YES!'s primary fundraisers throughout the years. He has also consulted for organizations like Challenge Day, a non-profit organization committed to stopping teen violence and alienation. In 13 months he helped Challenge Day build their donor base from 60 to 630 donors, including 75 donors of $5,000 and higher.

Ryan has started several successful businesses, including YES! (described above); The Center for Transformational Bodywork, a highly successful private practice in the competitive environment of Santa Cruz, California; a freelance fundraising and development consulting business; and his currently thriving coaching practice which was nearly full after just seven months. He was also instrumental in building DataHunt into a successful high tech executive search firm, securing some of its best clients and personally billing over $400,000 in a 12 month period.

Ryan has been interested in human potential since a young age and has attended every workshop and read every book he could get his hands on. A few of these workshops and trainings include:
- The Heartwood Institute's year long intensive Transformational Therapy program
- The Coaches Training Institute (Fundamentals, Fulfillment, Balance, Process, & In The Bones)
- Lynne Twist's Fundraising From The Heart
- Terry Axelrod's Raising More Money
- Challenge Day's Next Step
- The Human Awareness Institute's Level 1-5 Relationship Training
- The Landmark Forum (basic, advanced, & SELP)
- Anthony Robbins' Mastery University
- Peter Lowe's Success
- Danaan Paary's Advanced Warrior of the Heart
- and many more

Ryan likes to ski, backpack, hike, camp, surf, play basketball, mountain bike and goof off as much as possible. He has a passion for music of all kinds and has collected over 16,000 tracks and developed his own software for cataloging and cross referencing every song. He also plays didgeridoo (download a few of his tracks here: track 1, track 2). He loves to travel and has been to almost every US state and to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, The Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Egypt and India.

Ryan knows from experience how coaching can help an individual to manifest his highest potential. As a professional coach, he is committed to his clients fulfilling their highest potential both professionally and personally.
